A “What’s Up” is in the works

Gatherings this time of year often select : farm, harvest, celebrate or fest as words in the title. Hmmmm. The one happening at Jubilee has a different twang; to play off whatsapp messenger that connects people via voice, I came up with “what’s up”……there are some English teachers about that prefer the correct spelling ;)

Jubilee’s “What’s Up”  is to be the final week of September with a variety of things planned: good eats, talking birds, guess the pounds of tomatoes, a drawing for a gift certificate and a visit with a dietitian…not me, this time around. We will be highlighting the new menu with nutritional information and new labeling. The goal, of course, is to promote wellness and eating healthy in our communities with tasty, real eats that are good for you and pure mostly as well as staying active. Community Wellness Partners is the sponsor of this event.

This is a melon week – whooeee! Farm shares will get a watermelon and a cantaloupe as well as some peppers, beets, carrots, tomatoes, green onions and zucchini. Enjoy
